Rheem RP15AY Heat Pump

The RP15AY is a ducted heat-pump option for a complete heating-and-cooling system. Our pricebook pairs it with an RH2TY air handler and electric backup heat sized for the application. That gives you a complete all-electric path to compare with gas-based equipment.

What it does
In cooling mode, a heat pump works much like an AC. In heating mode, it reverses the process to bring heat inside. The air handler moves that air through the home, while the controls manage backup heat when needed.

Understanding efficiency
Rheem lists family maximums up to 16 SEER2 and 8.1 HSPF2. We use the actual matched-system rating for the capacity and indoor equipment proposed.
